During the early to mid '70s I enjoyed a happy and colourful childhood. Sunday mornings out with mates , back home for a roast and chocolate and a film to finish off a perfect day.

Sunday morning kicks off the release. It has been a go to track for me for over 40 years now , and it was crying out to me to do a cover version , I hope i have done Lou Reed justice.

Lemonade and Dirty knees is a melancholic journey through a summer morning. The sax represents my father noodling away with Stan Getz and John Coltrane. He always played on a Sunday . The guitar solo represents myself practising , slightly out of tune and time. but hey , I was only 12 years old !

Finally , Now that they have all gone is a kind of requiem to those days.
In 1974 I lost my mom , my father in 2008 . Along the years many relatives and friends with whom I had these adventures with ,have since passed.


As you get older you reflect more on the past, happy times and the sad ones. This EP turned into one of those moments and as a result one of the most emotional releases that I have produced.........to me anyway !
